Our MissionAvalanche Resources provides creative capital and business expertise to benefit our partner organizations, their shareholders and our stakeholders. We offer creative solutions to organizations across North America that often do not meet the risk profiles, or minimum funding levels of other funding sources. We make decisions quickly and operate at an entrepreneurs' pace. We evaluate our investments to optimize balance between risk and return on investment. Our TeamKevin C. Maddox, President and CEO Mr. Maddox brings 20 years experience in venture capital, 12 years experience in securities brokerage and investment management, and 14 years experience in public accounting, including positions with KPMG Peat Marwick and Deloitte and Touche CPA firms, as well as the Internal Revenue Service. He was CFO, Director and investment portfolio manager for an insurance company, while guiding it through to be the largest IPO ever completed by a financial services company on the Vancouver Stock Exchange. While Avalanche Resources, Ltd. was the largest and controlling shareholder of North American Technologies Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: NATK), Mr. Maddox served as the company's CFO and eventually CEO. Mr. Maddox is a CPA, CFP and registered investment advisor. He has served on many boards of directors for private and public organizations. Mr. Maddox earned a BBA-Accounting from the University of Texas. Franklin A. Mathias, Director Mr. Mathias is a significant shareholder and a director of Avalanche Resources, Ltd. He has completed a very successful 37-year career as one of the founders and key management of ConAgra, Inc. of Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Mathias served many years as President of ConAgra's largest and most profitable operating company, Molinos de Puerto Rico. Mr. Mathias is very active in business and community progress. He served for nine years as a director of Banco Popular, a $35 billion bank holding company and the largest financial institution in Puerto Rico. Simultaneously, Mr. Mathias was President and Chairman of Junior Achievement of Puerto Rico for ten years. |
